On the island of Sardinia , is a large number of caves and beaches, some islands can be visited by boat, other boats for rent as well as others that are accessible through the famous spaghetti Boats, very typical in coastal areas. You can take a boat to go to an island and sometimes stops to enjoy the sun, the sea and take a refreshing dip.

It is almost obligatory surf near the shore with a boat or own any of the boats that carry out excursions from Alghero to Cape Caccia and Neptune's caves. The cable Caccia represents the beginning of a series of vertical walls ornamented with deep sea caves, of which the grotto of Neptune is the most spectacular. Structures giant stalactites and stalagmites are input to more than two kilometers of galleries and wells that form the cave. There are daily excursions by boat, departing from Alghero.
In the extreme north of the island, around the island Asinara, are some of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia.

The city of Alghero, founded in the tenth century, a breathing rhythm of life peaceful and quiet. Walking the walk along the walls that separate the sea and stroll through the old quarter lead us to noon. We recommend a visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Church of San Francisco , examples of Gothic-Catalan architecture.

Alghero is situated on the coast of the province of Sassari and the homonymous capital is inside, just some 30 kilometers. It is considered the most interesting city of Sardinia. In Sassari, it is convenient to visit the historic center, with the churches of St. Peter, St. Maria de Belém, the source of Rosello Square and Italy.

Castelsardo, the ancient citadel located on the north coast of Sardinia, is one of the most picturesque villages of the island, nestled on a massive sea-facing with an old town of narrow, steep streets that climb to the castle built on top and from the which enjoys an exceptional view of the Gulf of Asinara. Inside the castle, the museum has a tissue sample of typical Sardinian traditional baskets made of palm leaves.

The 100 kilometers from Cagliari, the ruins of the Punic-Roman city of Tharros is one of the most interesting archaeological enclaves on the island.

On the banks of the river I'm afraid, is the only river town of Sardinia, Bosa. It is possible to enjoy a medieval atmosphere very welcoming. Going up the river, you arrive at St. Peter's Cathedral and the old, known as Sa Costa. Walking through narrow streets, between houses multicolor, we get to the top of the hill where stands the castle of Serravalle in 1112.

Away from major tourist centers, the best views of the interior of Sardinia, one discovers the mountainous region of Barbagia. The entire region is dotted with hundreds of small villages and houses typical of Sardinia, that protects the face and lifestyle unalterable tradition pastoral location. Highlight for the settlements of Oliena, and Orgoslo Aritzo.
