An underwater museum was inaugurated in the city of Cancun in Mexico .
Three sculptures have been submerged, but in total, over 400 will be part of the museum under water, making this the largest underwater museum in the world.
The initiative aims to encourage tourism in the area and divers can now visit the works of sculptor Jason Taylor.
The project was also designed to keep tourists away from marine coral, which have been badly damaged due to the large number of divers in recent years.
According to Mexican press, $ 350,000 was invested in the underwater museum , which should only be completed in 2011.
