The King of the Jungle needs your help

A madness of losing his head. This is how we describe this incredible expedition with field work and research for those who want to help save the Kings of the jungle in Africa.

Three months, eleven countries, a continent, a mission to study and help preserve the community of twenty thousand lions that still exist in Africa. According to the National Geographic Society (NGS), seventy years ago were an estimated four hundred thousand and dry, if drastic measures are not taken, the king of the jungle at serious risk in 2020.

The idea is to challenge it to you to do anything to save the last lions of Africa. What, exactly? Well, you can begin to be disbursed close to one million euros and only participate in an expedition organized by Dereck and Beverly Joubert, through the Big Cats Initiative, non-governmental organization that they created to save the endangered feline in the world, with the aid of the NGS.

The initiative, which aims to collect the largest possible number of DNA samples and make a map showing the location of animals, several participating teams of experts and scientists from around the world. The trip passes through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique , Kenya , Uganda, Rwanda, Chad, Somalia and Cameroon.

Si, the amount is exorbitant, but includes all costs of the expedition, traveling in private jets and helicopter and stay in luxury eco-resorts.

The explorers jorbert are residents of NSW and more than twenty years devoted all his time to studying and preserving wildlife. What makes them so fascinating - and the trips they organize - is that they know so well the terrain and know how to read the signs of approaching cat.

Meanwhile, the couple will collect images for making documentaries - are authors of dozens of films and books on cats and have won some Emmys and numerous awards worldwide for their work. A portion of the amount will be raised to pay for the movies and elsewhere to support the costs of shipping.
