It was the scene of movies and books, songs and theme for cultural, social and economic. The Route 66 is the great metaphor of the American way of life.

It is one of the most legendary roads of the world, crossing part of the U.S. and going through eight states to connect Chicago to Los Angeles through 3940 kilometers of asphalt photographed, filmed and documented in many different ways.

Route 66 is one of the great icons of America - here it is implicit the idea of freedom, solitude in the heart of the country and even the history of mass migration of the Great Depression.
