
Sun, beach, water sports and good weather all year round. In Puerto Rico is one of the nicest people on the planet, this island music flows through the streets, and from this emerged emblematic of Latin music stars such as Ricky Martin.
The capital of Puerto Rico , San Juan is known as the City walls, the numerous fortresses that surround it and is a major tourist destination in the country.
The center, "Old San Juan", covers seven blocks and has several attractions such as Plaza de Armas, where are the statues with more than one hundred years that represent the four seasons, and Muñoz Rivera Park, a park with a view the sea, huge trees and plants typical of the Caribbean .
The imposing fort of El Morro six levels is a must-see city, with towers and walls built between 1540 and 1589, and parts built between the years 1760 and 1780.
The view over the city and the Bay of San Juan is spectacular. In addition to historical attractions, San Juan has bars, casinos and the Condado Plaza, and beautiful beaches such as the Isla Verde and Condado.
Less populated beaches of the island of Vieques as the Flamingo Beach , 16 km from the main island, worth the visit, which makes flight from San Juan or taking a ferry, cheaper and more fun. On this island are dozens of beaches, and there are kayak tours with experienced guides who can show some of the many natural beauties of the place.
For those looking for nature, 45 minutes from San Juan El Yunque National Park. Apart from the rich flora and fauna, there are images of cave tribes living in this island discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492.
Port also has a rich La Parguera Bioluminescent Bay, where there is a very rare phenomenon, seen in only half a dozen places on the planet: light microscopic organisms thriving water and offer an impressive spectacle on dark nights. It lies between the cities of Ponce and Mayaguez, about two hours drive from San Juan.
One of the many wonders of Puerto Rico are the Rio Camuy Caves in the northern part of Puerto Rico, an hour and a half from San Juan. Only three caves are open to the public (a large part has not been explored), but sufficient to ensure an unforgettable experience. The Camuy is the third largest underground river in the world.
